COLORS

The installation on view is a series of oil paintings on wood organized by the artist to create a configuration of color modulations.  The collection of paintings are titled, "Persistent Production" and serve to comment on mass production white maintaining individualism.  The installed work is unique to the space in that it remains in flux, changing with each new exhibition.  The works can be added or subtracted and tempts to be a performance piece when installed.  In small groupings or en masse, the paintings have a makeshift magnetism, a frequency, that invents new identities for every space in which it is placed.
